Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services or have parental/guardian consent.

Our Services

The Laundry Room Ghana provides:

Subscriptions

Flexible monthly plans

Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

Subscription Plans

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • Payment will be charged to your selected payment method automatically
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
  • All payments are in Ghana Cedis (GHS)

Cancellation & Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app or website
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial months or unused services
  • Unused weight allowances do not roll over to the next period

Modifications

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

Service Terms

Pickup & Delivery

  • You must be available at the scheduled pickup/delivery time
  • We operate within Greater Accra and specified service areas
  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances
  • A rescheduling fee may apply for missed pickups

Item Acceptance

We reserve the right to refuse service for:

  • Items contaminated with hazardous materials
  • Heavily soiled items beyond normal wear
  • Items with excessive damage or wear
  • Items that may damage equipment or other customers' items

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

Check Pockets

Remove all items from pockets before pickup. We are not responsible for items left in pockets.

Special Instructions

Clearly communicate any special care instructions for delicate items.

Valuable Items

Do not include items of high monetary or sentimental value.

Timely Claims

Report any issues within 24 hours of delivery.

Liability and Disclaimer

Limitation of Liability

Our liability for lost or damaged items is limited to:

  • • 10x the service charge per item
  • • Maximum of GHS 500 per order
  • • Fair market value (whichever is lower)

We Are Not Liable For:

  • Color bleeding or fading due to manufacturer defects
  • Pre-existing damage or wear
  • Items left in pockets
  • Shrinkage of items not properly labeled
  • Damage to delicate items without special instructions
  • Delays due to force majeure events

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on our website and app are owned by The Laundry Room Ghana. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.

Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

Use the service for illegal purposes
Attempt to hack or compromise our systems
Share your account credentials
Submit false or fraudulent orders
Harass or abuse our staff
Reverse engineer our app

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination:

  • You will lose access to your account and subscriptions
  • No refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period
  • You must settle any outstanding balances

Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute:

    Contact our customer support within 24 hours of the issue

    We will investigate and respond within 48 business hours

    If unresolved, disputes will be settled through mediation in Accra, Ghana

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Accra, Ghana.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or app notification. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
